Why do dogs lick you?
Are you sitting there with dog slobber on your hands as you read this? It may just be because your dog loves you. Dog licking people or other dogs is a sign of affection and may be why dogs lick you. That slobber is something magic.
Another reason is that your dog thinks you taste delicious. Does the most amount of licking occur after you just ate a delicious meal in front of your best friend? You may taste as good as the meal. Also, our bodies have a tasty salt taste. Another delicacy of canines.
Lastly, if the licking is over the top or abnormal. This may be your best friend telling you that something is wrong. If other health symptoms exist ask your vet to have a look.
If they don't stop, lick them back.
