How to get a dog to calm down

Not all of us are calm, not all dogs are either. It's not the end of the world that your dog is active. Many breeds run faster or slower, their emotions do too. Use these helpful tips to get a dog to calm down.

Tip #1

Find out what music they enjoy. Serious. Play different genres and hopefully you both like the same kind of music.

Tip #2

Curl up in bed or under the blankets on the couch.

Tip #3

See a veterinarian if the hyperactivity is caused by something physical.
